Jabfilm’s upcoming
personal documentary by the
acknowledged author Magnar
Mikkelsen, just got NOK
300.000,- from Norwegian
Fund for Image and Sound. In
addition we have already
received funding from The
Norwegian Broadcasting
Company NRK, North Norwegian
Film Centre and the
Norwegian Film Fund, and we
are now fully financed to
start production in 2009. |

The Barents TV series
was recently presented
in Murmansk on the
Barents Festival and at
the FILM ARC
presentation at FilmCamp.
Also the
new teaser was shown for
the first time.

We have been to Cannes two
times this year |
|
First it was the Film
Festival in May and then we
participated at MIPCOM, a
large TV market. Lots of new
contacts were made and new
information gathered,
especially about new
distribution formats,
products and markets. |

“The Hot Cold Barents” |
|
a new 54 minutes
documentary just had its
TV release (nov 2008) at
NRK. The film is about
the Arctic Seas, the
history, the people, and
the actual fight going
on over the enormous
natural resources.
